When our preferred automaker handed over some of our favorite Hyundai models to the finest tuners in the country, we knew the end results would be spectacular. Six style-savvy, power-hungry custom Hyundai models made their debut at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show last week, and they're worth checking out in this snapshot of the specialty equipment show:

Last week, at the 45th annual Miami International Auto Show, the all-new 2016 Tucson was named "Best Compact Crossover" by Ruedas ESPN, the leading Spanish language automotive radio show in the United States.

An executive committee gathered the nominations for the awards, and a group of industry experts acted as a jury, selecting winners in 12 basic categories. This was the fifth year in a row that Hyundai has been recognized by Ruedas ESPN....

Earlier this month we learned of some exciting news for the Hyundai brand. From October 7 through October 9, the Texas Auto Writers Association (TAWA) hosted the 23rd annual Texas Truck Rodeo at Knibbe Ranch in Spring Branch, Texas, near San Antonio. During the event, trucks, SUVs, and crossovers from around the industry, were judged on a variety of metrics, including fuel efficiency, performance, off-road capability, style, and affordability.

In a nod to Hyundai's pursuit of eco-friendly transportation solutions, Green Car Journal has selected the Sonata as a finalist for the "Green Car of the Year" honor. Only five finalists were chosen from an extensive field. Judges considered green technology…

Delivering tons of value in automobiles is a part of life here are Laurel Hyundai, but did you know our vehicles are some of the safest too? The 2016 Tucson and Sonata are evidence of this, as the IIHS has just added the pair to its Top Safety Pick+ list for 2015.

Both the Tucson and the Sonata would be a great choice for buyers looking for top-notch safety, but the Tucson really nailed IIHS' tests. It also received a "Good" rating in the tough-to-pass small-overlap test. Check out the video of the Tucson passing with flying colors below:
