Calling the Genesis G90 an "exceptionally realized sedan" in a new review for The New York Times, auto critic Tom Voelk heaps high praise on the first standalone offering from Hyundai's newly liberated luxury brand. Click "play" in the video clip below to watch Voelk's full report.
The G90 is so loaded, its only choices are paint and interior color; rear or all-wheel drive; and engine. Voelk drove a 3.3-liter twin-turbo V6 model with rear drive that made 365 horsepower and 376 pound-feet of torque. Most buyers won’t need the V8. Silky 8-speed transmission shifts may go unnoticed. Drive modes change transmission and throttle mapping, steering weight and suspension.
