This morning, we read some exciting news regarding Hyundai's newest large luxury sedan, the Genesis G90. Just weeks after it was unveiled, the G90 has earned the first of what promises to be many accolades. Thanks to its refined, sophisticated exterior aesthetic, and highly ergonomic interior, the G90 has been recognized by the 2015 Good Design Awards.
Organized by the Chicago Athenaeum and the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design, and Urban Studies, the Good Design awards are judged by an international panel of jurors consisting of architects, experts, and cultural leaders.
Byung-Seob Lee, Senior Vice President and Head of the Hyundai Design Center, spoke enthusiastically of the recognition. “I believe this award will help the Genesis brand gain valuable further profile as it establishes a foothold in the North American luxury car market," he said. "Genesis focuses on articulating brand values through exemplary design – a characteristic which will be evident in all of our future range of models. This early endorsement of our approach bodes well for our future product line-up."
The G90 will be given its official public debut next month, at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit.
